Where can I go?

Fanlu Township is to the east of Chiayi City, not far from the upstream section of Bazhang River. In times past aborigines from Shanmei, Leye and Dabang had to pass through Fanlu Township on their way to trade with lowlands people so it was known as “savage” road. To this day the remains of old observation towers can still be seen.

Bantianyan temple is the most important scenic spot of Minhe Village in Fanlu Township and is also the belief center of local peope.Dahua Highway (County Road 159 A), one of the main roads to Alishan, also passes through the township.
