步道簡介
Step onto the “1314 lookout deck” at the top of Haishu Mountain and enjoy the 360° panorama view. You can see Caoling Scenic Area of Yunlin right across Qingshui Creek on the north, as well as Meishan Canyon and the surrounding mountains on the west.
The altitude of 1,314 meters, by the pronunciation of the numbers in Chinese, symbolizes “forever and ever.” On the “1314 Love Tower” you will find the flags of 18 countries and “I love you” in different languages. The entrance of Love Trail is here.
Entering the trail that is only 240 meters long and an elevation less than 40 meters, the green trail in the tea fields extends downwards in front of your eyes. During tea making period, tea pickers will move through the fields swiftly and pick the most flavorful “one-tip, two leaves” skillfully. You can enjoy the wonderful tea aroma in the air.
As the road turns, the landscape formed by mountains close and far also begins to change, with farmhouses, people, and cars become clearer. Before you can begin to ponder upon the poetic scenery, you have almost finished the trail and the connecting road is looming. This short but beautiful trail offers magnificent mountain views that serve as witnesses of your everlasting love.
