In order to promote and sell Alishan's local products within the country and internationally, the Alishan National Scenic Area Administration (hereinafter referred to as the Administration), Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications has established the "Alishan EASY GO" online sales platform. This platform serves as a collaborative effort to promote Alishan branded products. Today, the Administration has invited over 100 tourism operators within its jurisdiction to form the "Great Alishan Industry Alliance". The alliance includes members from farmers' associations, community development associations, B&B development associations, tea and coffee associations, and local tourism entities. They are invited to contribute their efforts towards the development of Alishan's tourism sector.
The "Alishan EASY GO" online sales platform is available in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean languages. Offering a current selection of 45 products, it provides a diverse range of high-quality itineraries with various themes, including romance, tea, railways, ecology, coffee, and indigenous culture, to attract visitors to Alishan. Furthermore, the platform offers unique experiential activities, local delicacies, souvenirs, and guided tours. With the convenience of online purchasing, the platform facilitates direct delivery of Alishan's products to consumers while offering budget-friendly prices for tourism products.
This year, the "Alishan EASY GO" platform has partnered with the Chiayi Forest District Office, Forestry Bureau, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan to digitize the entrance tickets for the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area. As part of this collaboration, they have introduced an e-ticket package set in conjunction with the Fenqihu Railway boxed launch. Riding on the cherry blossom and firefly seasons, it achieved excellent sales performance within just one month of being launched. To celebrate the official launch of the Great Alishan Industry Alliance today, the platforms launched six tea giftsets and indigenous handicrafts for sale today. These products include coasters from the Veoveoana Tribe, Formosan sika deer leather key rings, and little deer coin purses. Each of these items is a unique piece of indigenous craftsmanship created by skilled tribal artisans using natural calf leather.
Furthermore, the Alishan high-mountain tea series is a must-try for tea enthusiasts. The Director of the Administration, Ma Hui-ta, highlighted that Alishan is blessed with abundant natural landscapes, ecological resources, agricultural products, and the indigenous culture of the Tsou people. In order to further develop local distinctive industries, the Administration will continue to promote the "Alishan EASY GO" online sales platform this year.
