Chukou Visitor and Administration Center was consigned to architect, Liao Wei-li, for overall planning with the key objectives of nature preservation and adaptation to the natural landscape and mountain view. Applying design techniques such as "interweaving landscapes," "floating," and "crisscrossing traffic flows," the intention was to create a landscape architecture in harmony with nature. Ten years have passed since and all electrical cables are now made underground, making the skyline exceptionally clear. Various species of birds, butterflies, and reptiles live and prosper in this area. The egrets circling low around the grassland serve as a welcoming committee for the visitors. Chukou Visitor and Administration Center is indeed a stunning new attraction on Provincial Highway 18.
