Eryanping Trail
Eryanping Trail offers great, unobstructed view of sunsets and the sea of clouds. It is a popular secluded spot for photography.
A round trip on the Eryanping Trail takes about 120 minutes. On the way, you will find different scenery of bamboo forest, odd rocks, and tea fields. It is also possible to overlook the Chiayi-Tainan Plain, Renyi Lake, and Lantan Reservoir. On a good day, you can gaze afar Dongshi and Budai Harbor. Towards the east, you can see mountains of Yushan. In the winter, there’s a chance to see the waterfall of clouds and the sea of clouds. Photographers gather here to take beautiful shots of the sunset.
