Taiping Suspension Bridge
The lookout next to Taiping Suspension Bridge is a great spot for enjoying the full view of the bridge and the beautiful surrounding scenery.
Taiping Suspension Bridge is 281m in length at an altitude of 1,000m. It is the longest and highest suspension bridge in Taiwan. The bridge extends from Wangfeng Pavilion in Taiping Village, Meishan, crossing over Sanyuan Rainbow Waterfall, and reaching to Guishan. It allows visitors to take in the view of Chiayi, the sea of clouds, as well as the famous "Meishan 36 bends," and even the Chiayi–Tainan Plain at a distance.
