This railway station is located 2,000 meters above sea level. Next to the railway track, Erwanping Trail which passes through a towering cedar forest is also known as the "Black Forest Trail." Visitors can take in the beauty of the sunset, sea of clouds, forest, and railway all at once.
Completely different from Alishan, Erwanping is peaceful and quiet. It is also an excellent scenic spot for watching the sunset and sea of clouds of Tashan. In autumn and winter, sea of clouds often forms at an altitude of around 1,800 meters above sea level. Erwanping, at an altitude of 2,000 meters, is at great advantage. You will find the best view next to the railway tracks of Erwanping Station.
