It has been 14 years since the launch of Alishan Giant Tree Weddings by Alishan National Scenic Area Administration, Tourism Bureau, MOTC (thereinafter Alishan Administration). Couples make their wedding vows under the ancient trees, promising love and companionship for a lifetime. The sequel, Starlight Weddings, is also entering its second year. On the Niupuzi Prairie, under the starlight, couples make promise to each other to be the light of their lives. More than 200 couples from Taiwan and overseas have participated in these weddings. The success of this event has made “Weddings under the Giant Tree” an Alishan brand. This year, romance-themed tours have also been launched. 
 

Wedding under the Giant Trees

The 2020 Weddings under the Giant Trees will be held on October 24th and 25th at the Xianglin Giant Tree Deck. Registration is opened from June 12th after the Giant Tree Wedding press conference to 15 couples from Taiwan and overseas. The “Love forever 9999” package includes a wedding under the giant tree, and romance-themed activities such as tea making and couple meal cooking, and Tsou tribal traditional wedding experience. Local partnering brands such as ODS soy sauce, Alishan House, Sunliker bakery and Shanmudao co-curated a wedding gift set for the couples, sending their best wishes to the couples for a happy marriage and eternal love. Weddings under the Starlight

The sequel of Alishan Giant Tree Wedding, Weddings under the Starlight will be held on July 18th and 19th at the Niupuzi Prairie. Registration is opened from June 12th after the Giant Tree Wedding press conference to 15 couples from Taiwan and overseas. The “Love forever 9999” package includes dresses, styling, and photography services for a 2-day pre-wedding photo shoot with renowned wedding photography teams, SJ Wedding, Filmworks, and DL-Doris. Together they will shoot the most beautiful photos for the couples at Alishan, making it an unforgettable wedding experience. Romance-themed tour

The summer romance-themed tour as part of the Giant Tree Wedding package includes the popular outdoor picnics. With the coming firefly season, the “Picnic with Fireflies” season-limited activity can be booked from now until May 30 (depending on weather condition). Gathering and departing from Zengin Café, couples can enjoy a picnic under the starlight with twinkling fireflies. Please find out more from the registration website.
