The Alishan Tsou Tribe Festivals start in September – Let’s Visit The Most Heartwarming Indigenous Tribe

The Alishan Tsou Tribe Festivals are promoted to honor the lifestyle and traditional culture of the local indigenous Tsou tribe, where a series of unique annual activities will be held. The first one is the Leye Industries Festival on September 14-15; Following that are the Dabang Aiyu Festival and Life Bean Festival on October 25-27; Xinmei Tea Seed Oil Festival from October to November; Shanmei’s Taiwan Shovel-jaw Carp Festival on November 16-17; Chashan Hufu Gazebo Festival on November 23-24; Zhulu Sharing Festival Fun All The Way on December 7-8. Starting from September, there will be wonderful Tsou Tribe festivals each month. We welcome friends from near and far to join us and experience this one of a kind Alishan Tsou Tribal Village Festivals
This year during the National Day of the Republic of China on October 11 and November 2, the annual traditional indigenous music event - “Muni Music Festival” - will be held at the Danaiku Nature Ecological Park in Shanmei. Friends who love indigenous tribe’s lifestyle, culture and traditional songs and dance can enjoy the scenic Danaiku River, and the excellent dance performance by the Tsou Dance Troop. In addition, the renowned Amis Kakeng Music Group from the East Coast, the passionate performance by the Pisirian Paw Paw Drum, and the vibrant Daman Dance Troop from Xiaolin Village will put on the most brilliant and diverse performance at the Muni Music Festival this year. To turn up the “fun” volume, the first ever Hunter Treasure Hunting Event that grown ups and children like allows everyone to explore the unique and beautiful Tsou culture as they follow the hunting map step by step.
