Located at the 47.4 km mark of the Alishan Highway, Gongxing Forest Eco Park features the 874-meter-long Longmei Trail. Built with natural granite slabs and wooden boardwalks, this horseshoe-shaped loop trail preserves an untouched, natural atmosphere.

Strolling along the path through the cedar forest, visitors can immerse themselves in a soothing forest bath, taking in the dense greenery and rich natural phytoncides. The trail includes two resting plazas and a viewing pavilion. Given its lower elevation, this route is ideal for admiring the lush forest vegetation.

The park is currently leased to and managed by a private enterprise, offering facilities such as activity spaces, pavilions, and workshops for visitors to rest and enjoy.

• Tea Room Rental: Private tea room boxes (equipped with electricity, water, tables, and chairs) are available for NT$500 to NT$800, with a 3-hour time limit.
• DIY Workshops: Painted bamboo hats, painted lanterns, and botanical print dyeing are available for NT$300 per person per activity.
• Group Games: Wild boar spearing ("Ci Shan Zhu") and kids' archery are available for NT$80 per person.
