Guanri (sun-watching) Peak is the summit of an altitude of 1,311m.

On a good day, you can see from the pavilion on Guanri Peak, Caoling Dabong Mountain towards the east, and Ruifeng Village towards the south. At night you can enjoy the night view of Chiayi city center.

Driving directions

【37.8-km marker of County Highway 166】
1. National Highway 3 Zhuqi Interchange -> County Highway 166 towards Ruili -> Turn left at the 81.7-km marker to County Highway 162A -> Ruifeng -> 37.8-km marker of County Highway 166
2. National Highway 3 Meishan Interchange -> County Highway 162, Provincial Highway 3 -> Meishan -> County Highway 162A -> Taiping -> Ruifeng -> 37.8-km marker of County Highway 166
At the intersection with the industrial road, you will see signs for “Guanjinglou” and “Wanshoushan Tea Garden.” Follow the signs and go up for 2km. You will arrive at the 1314 Observation Deck of Haishu Mountain. (The roads are narrow and difficult for two cars to pass each other. Parking is also difficult. You are recommended to walk up.)

【37.8-km marker of County Highway 166】
Chiayi County Bus 7315 Chiayi-Ruifeng: Get on at Chiayi, get off at Dipu. (There are two buses each going to and returning from here every day.)
After getting off the bus, turn around and walk 200m. At the intersection with the industrial road at the 37.8-km marker of County Highway 166, you will see signs for “Guanjinglou” and “Wanshoushan Tea Garden.” Follow the signs and walk up 2km. You will arrive at the 1314 Observation Deck of Haishu Mountain.
