Introduction
Shizhuo Trails are located near Shizhuo along the Alishan Highway. Alishan National Scenic Area Headquarters had extended the original trail and made improvements by adding 6 trails - Mist Trail (originally Shizhuo Trail, 880 meters), Tea Trail (1,030 meters), Cloud Trail (originally Shanlin Trail, 700 meters), Sunset Trail (530 meters), Sakura Trail (990 meters) and Love Trail(1,040meters). These 6 trails, combined with the paths that connect to various industries, make up a total distance of approximately 5 km, with altitude between 1,370 meters – 1,699 meters. It takes about 2 hours to walk the whole distance.
These 6 trails each have their unique features, where scenes of mist, cloud, sunset, tea garden, cedar and bamboo forest can be seen. As you walk in the forest, you will be impressed by the neatly kept tea garden and vast mountain view. On the other hand, the ever-changing scenes of misty, cloudy, and sunset scenery are just breathtaking.
