The temple enshrines Guanyin Buddha and is a Grade 3 historic site.

In 1823 statues of Guangyin and Nezha Third Prince were brought across the Taiwan Straits from China. On the fifth day of the Chinese new year every year the whole village takes part in a Guanyin parade prayer activity; a temple celebration is held on Guanyin’s birthday on the 19th day of the second lunar month.
