Ziyun Temple

Introduction

The temple, around 17 kilometers from Chiayi City, is a Grade 3 county designated historic site.

The temple was established over 300 years ago. Situated halfway up a mountain, the temple is also called ban tian yan (Half sky rock) and bai zi yun si (White Purple Cloud Temple) by believers, who also sometimes join the names and call it ban tian yan zi yun si.
