The inaugural conference of the ”Caoling Regional Tourism Development and Industry Alliance”, promoted and established by the Alishan National Scenic Area Administration (hereinafter referred to as the Administration), Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transportation, took place today (on the 29th). During the conference, the Director of the Administration, Ma Hui-ta, and members of the Caoling Regional Tourism Development and Industry Alliance conducted the signing ceremony. Attendees of the conference included members of the Legislative Yuan; Deputy Mayor of Yunlin County Government; Director of Chiayi Forest District Office, Forestry Bureau, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan; Councilors of Yunlin County; Chief of the Agricultural and Economic Division at the Gukeng Township Office, Yunlin County; Director of Gukeng Township Farmers Association of Yunlin County, as well as leaders and professionals of local tourism industry associations and organizations all participated in the conference.
The Director of the Alishan National Scenic Area Administration, Ma Hui-ta, stated that through collaboration in the food, accommodation, tourism, shopping, and transportation sectors of the tourism industry, the Caoling Tourism Union not only offers tourists the opportunity to explore both the Caoling and Alishan scenic areas but also maximizes the economic benefits of the tourism industry. This is the reason behind the establishment of the Great Caoling Regional Tourism Development and Industry Alliance, which aims to effectively integrate resources and facilitate tourism development. Following the alliance's establishment today, the Administration will gather input from all sectors to determine the most ideal tourism development approach for the Caoling area and collaborate closely with local industry players to make significant progress.
Guided by the concept of a shared living circle, members of the Great Caoling Regional Tourism Development and Industry Alliance mutually recommend and promote one another. Within this tourism union, partners from the same sector collaborate, while partners from different sectors form cross-industrial alliances, to support each other and establish a regional tourism development and industry alliance. This collaborative network facilitates connections among various sectors within the surrounding tourism industry, with the goal of achieving marketing objectives and creating a distinctive regional tourism brand for the Greater Caoling area.
