After leaving Meishan heading in the Taiping direction, County Road 162 begins to winds its way up into the mountains.

With spectacular views of mountains and the vast plain below, there is a surprise around each 180 degree turn. On clear days the Chianan Plain can be seen stretching out into the far distance. Summer and autumn are the best seasons for viewing the sunset, sunset glow and the night scenery, while winter is the best time to view the magnificent cloud sea.
